Cocoa Banana Pops

I absolutely love taking simple fruits and transforming them into fun and special desserts. This recipe takes plain old bananas, give them just a hint of chocolate, and leaves you with a delicious ice creamy treat that the whole family can eat without any guilt.


Cocoa Banana Popsicles

Yield: 2 per banana | Prep Time: 5 minutes | Freeze Time: 3 hours

Ingredients:

Bananas

cocoa powder (approx. 1/2 tsp per banana)


You will also need:

2 popsicle sticks per banana

  1. Peel and halve bananas, then put each banana half on a popsicle stick

  2. Using a sifter or strainer, lightly dust all sides of the bananas with cocoa powder

  3. Place on parchment or wax paper and freeze for at least 3 hours

  4. Eat up!
