Grilled PB&A

Here's a twist on the classic peanut butter and jelly (or honey). Great for kids and grown ups, this fun sandwich is yummy and sweet and has the added bonus of no added sugar (other than what's in the bread). Give it a try next time you're at a loss as to what to make for lunch, need something to pack for work or school, or are going on a picnic!

School Lunch

Grilled PB&A

2 pieces of bread

1 apple

Peanut butter (try my recipe)

  1. Cut the apple into thin slices

  2. Lightly spread peanut butter onto both pieces of bread.

  3. Lay apple slices on peanut butter on one piece of bread

  4. Lay the other piece of bread on top

  5. Toast in pan on medium for about 3 minutes per side or until golden on both sides. (It also works great in a toaster oven)
